In a few more days we will all be looking at two weeks of non-stop family time. Whether you are planning to tough it out through one event after another or laying low with the kids at home, you will need plenty of activities to do over Christmas break. I gathered up some of the best ideas from around the web that also incorporate some kind of therapeutic benefit for our kiddos and hope that this makes your days go by just a little bit faster…

Do you have any other favorite indoor activities? Let me know if you try any of these, we had lots of fun testing them out!

About Jessica

Jessica is a 30-something mom to five, four in her arms and one in her heart. On any given day you will find her taxi-ing a teenager, mopping up the latest "art project" and trying to remember when she turned the crock pot on… all the while, looking for the closest Starbucks drive thru. Jessica Watson can also be found at her personal blog Four Plus an Angel, on twitter (@jessbwatson) and on Pinterest.

  2. Oooh, I like the tennis ball painting idea. Although the picture of that adorable kiddo looking at the melting snowman in her bath is my favorite. Great ideas! Thanks!

    • The tennis ball one was my favorite to do, easy for the kids and not as messy as finger painting (as long as no one throws the ball). I have a feeling if we do the bath one it won’t turn out as cute.
